MINI Comfort Access is a keyless entry system for your car. It detects the key in your pocket or bag when you come within approx. three metres on either side of your MINI. It then switches the ambient lighting and light carpet on, welcoming and guiding you to the door. It can automatically unlock your MINI when you are approaching your car and one metre away without you having to touch the door handle. It automatically locks your vehicle when you move approx. two metres away. In both cases, there's no need to reach for your fob – the whole process is quick and easy. It’s just perfect for when you need to come and go quickly. You can’t lock your key inside by mistake, either.

Keep your MINI tidy and ship shape with our black Luggage Compartment Net. Prevent loose items moving around the luggage compartment with this simple and safe accessory. Designed for your convenience, the black netting with integrated hooks is secured on the luggage compartment's built-in fastening points. Only one and the same net is needed for both positions - either rear bench backrests up or for even more cargo space, rear bench backrests down.

Enjoy new perspectives, a wider field of vision and greater ease. This package adds extra functions to your MINI’s exterior and interior mirrors to make your drive safer and more comfortable. Electrically-folding side mirrors protect your MINI from damage when you park. The front-passenger side mirror tilts automatically when you reverse so you can see the curb. The smart-tinting glass dims to protect your eyes from glare. And you can save your preferred mirror and seat settings using the memory function. In cold weather, your mirrors automatically warm up to reduce condensation and prevent ice building up. And you get greeted on board every time by the MINI logo projection from your external mirror.

Enhancing your safety and comfort at night, the automatic anti-dazzle function reduces glare from cars behind you. Two photosensors detect if the light from behind is greater than from the front, and then gradually adjust the reflectance of the mirror according to the intensity. Since you don’t have to operate the mirror manually, your hands can safely remain on the steering wheel.

Warm and cozy couldn't be cooler. The optional seat heating in your MINI quickly heats up your front seats to a relaxing temperature that you can adjust to three levels to get you warmed up and relaxed when it's cold outside. It heats your seat cushion and the entire contact surface of the backrest to provide all-round comfort. In addition, the heat can be distributed however you like by simply using the Control Display.

See things you might have missed. In addition to LED daytime running lights and powerful Bi-LED low- and high-beams, this package offers cornering light in LED technology. This is adaptive light distribution with increased illumination at the sides enabling you to see around curves and corners – for city, rural and motorway traffic as well as in bad weather. The high-beam assistant detects oncoming vehicles, and automatically activates your low-beam to avoid dazzling other drivers. In the light menu, you can choose from three distinctive light signatures created by daytime running light, front and rear light combinations – complemented by a corresponding welcome and goodbye orchestration.

Making light work of driving at night. When activated, the high beam automatically turns on when it is dark and turns off automatically where the roads are sufficiently lit. The High-Beam assistant is a front facing sensor integrated into the front of your MINI’s interior mirror. And it makes driving at night much safer by automatically switching the headlights from high-beam to low-beam to avoid dazzling road users. It switches back to full-beam once the road ahead is clear.

Inspired by jet cockpit technology, the MINI Head-Up Display puts everything you want to know right in your line of sight. Installed on your dashboard, the transparent screen displays key data such as driving speed, maps, driver assistance features and entertainment details. As clear as can be, it provides excellent image quality even in brightly lit environments. You can easily adjust height and brightness, and you can tailor the information it displays to your needs. It also adapts to the MINI Experience Mode you have chosen so you enjoy a consistent and holistic experience – and stay fully in the picture.

Charge up in style. The MINI Wireless Charging tray, located in the front area of the centre console, lets you securely store and safely charge any Qi 1.2-compatible smartphone as you drive, with up to 15 W power. Simply place your device onto the NFC pad to give it a top up. Once docked, the LED light will indicate that your phone is charging. It's compatible with smartphone covers up to 6 mm, so you don't need to remove your protective case. And it features an active cooling system to prevent your device from overheating to ensure optimal performance.

This option provides the technical requirement to add Driving Assistant Plus as an MINI Connected Upgrade. Information and offers for MINI Connected Upgrades can be found through the MINI App, online, or directly in the vehicle through the MINI Connected Store.

The preparation for Driving Assistant Plus is necessary to be able to activate the special equipment as MINI Connected Upgrade.

Driving Assistant Plus for instance offers Active Cruise Control: between speeds of 30-180 km/h your MINI keeps the desired speed, holds a speed dependent and adjustable distance to the vehicles in front, if needed until standstill. It starts your MINI - if you wish automatically - after a vehicle in front has re-started from a standstill (Stop and Go function). The system also helps you to keep your lane until 180km/h. In addition, it shows speed limits and offers taking over the detected speed limit as your MINI’s cruise control speed either manually or also automatically. Please note that the systems contained in this equipment only provide assistance within specifically defined limits. Drivers bear the final responsibility to adapt their driving to respond to the traffic conditions. Subject to country-specific regulations.
