IMPORTANT CUSTOMER NOTICE

We’re looking forward to getting back in gear and doing what we love best. With some changes to our set-up, we’ve reopened MINI Centres in Ireland. You’ll notice sanitisation stations, staff upping the frequency of deep cleans, a one-way system and two metre social distancing. We also now offer unaccompanied test drives. We can’t wait to welcome you back.

Contact your local MINI Centre to confirm they’re open again and what their hours are.

Both Sales and Service departments will be running on a strictly by appointment-only basis.

If you are in a situation where you have an urgent repair or breakdown, you can call MINI Roadside Assistance on 1800 409 900. Routine Service bookings will commence once our Retailers are back in operation.

Warranty & Service Inclusive Extensions

MINI is committed to supporting customers affected by the closure of our retailers during the coronavirus restrictions.

Service Schedules

Customers requiring a vehicle service during the delays caused by Coronavirus can rest assured that the warranty will be unaffected by this disruption. All cars serviced within 3 months or 3,200 km (whichever is earlier) of the service indicator will be protected in full by any applicable warranty.

Warranty Expiry

For customers with a warranty expiry during the coronavirus restrictions (from 14th March 2020 onwards), we will extend your warranty coverage until 30th June 2020. End of warranty checks due during this period will also be fulfilled. Customers in self-isolation beyond 30th June will be asked to contact you to arrange for vehicle collection and delivery.

Service Packages

MINI will honour Service Inclusive packages expiring between 14th March and 30th June 2020 for any overdue work.

Customer FAQ's

Q. I can’t get my car serviced due to coronavirus shutdown. Will this impact my warranty?

Our vehicles use condition based servicing (CBS) to actively monitor when your car requires a service. To maintain the BMW warranty customers should ensure their vehicle is serviced as close as possible to the expected service schedules.

All cars serviced within 3 months or 3,200 km (whichever is earlier) of the service indicator will be protected in full by any applicable warranty.

Some service centres continue to offer service and repair for essential workers.

Q. My warranty has expired during the coronavirus closures. How will this impact me?

For customers with a warranty expiry during the coronavirus restrictions, we will extend your warranty coverage until 30th June 2020. End of warranty checks due during this period will also be fulfilled.

Customers in self-isolation beyond 30th June should contact a MINI Centre to arrange for collection and delivery.

Q. My service package is about to expire but your retailers are closed due to coronavirus. Can I still claim the remaining service under the package?

We will honour any service due under a service package that has expired during the coronavirus closures.

Q. I have a problem with my car and the warranty is expiring. However my retailer is closed due to Coronavirus. What do I do?

Customers in self-isolation beyond 30th June should contact a MINI Centre to arrange for collection and delivery of your car.

If your car is unsafe to drive, please contact MINI Roadside Assistance on 1800 409 900 and we can arrange for a trained technician to attend.

Some service centres continue to offer service and repair for essential workers.
