The four-cylinder twin-scroll turbo (winner of four awards) pushes the MINI Cooper S Roadster to a maximum of 227 [222] km/h.

At 80 km/h the rear spoiler extends electrically to make sure the most is made of the airflow. It reduces the lift on the rear axis, giving excellent road holding.
