Further information on official fuel consumption and on the official specific emissions of CO2 for new passenger car models is contained in a brochure which is available free of charge from any dealer or from the following address: The Society Of The Irish Motor Industry, 5 Upper Pembroke Street, Dublin 2, Ireland.

All MINI engines meet the Euro 5 emissions standard. The petrol engines for the MINI One Countryman, MINI Cooper Countryman and MINI Cooper Paceman meet the Euro 6 emissions standard. Fuel consumption is determined in accordance with the ECE driving cycle (93/116/EC) made up of approximately one third urban traffic and two thirds extra-urban driving (based on the distance covered). CO2 emissions are measured in addition to fuel consumption as such. Fuel consumption levels are calculated based on vehicles with standard equipment. Special equipment (e.g. wider tyres) can have a significant impact on fuel consumption levels.

MINI recommends the use of super unleaded 95 RON fuel. Unleaded RON 91 fuel or higher with a maximum ethanol limit of 10 percent (E10) is also permitted. The performance and fuel consumption rates listed are based on the use of RON 98 fuel.

The figures quoted include a 90 per cent tank filling, 68 kg for the driver and 7 kg for luggage. Unladen weight applies to vehicles with standard equipment. Optional equipment may increase this figure.

All figures relate to vehicles with standard six-speed manual transmission. Figures in [ ] are for vehicles with six-speed automatic transmission Steptronic.

MINI COOPER ROADSTER.

OPEN FOR EVERY ADVENTURE.

In the new MINI Cooper Roadster, detours receive a warm welcome. Above all, when they involve a new adventure.

That’s because this Roadster yearns for routes with tight curves and long straight stretches. It’s all the more fun when the soft top is stored behind the seats. That’s when every press of the accelerator pedal becomes an acoustic delight.

The two-seater not only displays its unbridled forward thrust when sprinting from a standstill to 100 km/h, which takes it a mere 9.2 [10.5] s, but also in its top speed of 199 [192] km/h.

Outstanding road holding comes from the rear spoiler, which extends automatically above a speed of 80 km/h. It reduces the lift on the rear axle and presses the MINI Cooper Roadster firmly down onto the asphalt.

Fitted with this equipment, the Roadster is always open for a unique adventure. 365 days in the year.

Although the passengers should make sure they drink enough in summer, the MINI Cooper Roadster always has a surprising lack of thirst. Thanks to MINIMALISM it consumes only 5.7 [6.6] l/100km in the combined cycle. In any weather, of course. Innovative technology helps to save fuel: the Auto Start Stop Function switches off the engine when you stop, and at traffic lights. While in Brake Energy Regeneration, the alternator charges the battery as soon as the driver's foot leaves the accelerator. The shift point display shows the most fuel-efficient point for the next gear change.

So there is always more roadster feeling per tank.
