All MINI engines meet the EU5 emissions standard. Fuel consumption is determined in accordance with the ECE driving cycle (93/116/EC) made up of approximately one third urban traffic and two thirds extra-urban driving (based on the distance covered). CO2 emissions are measured in addition to fuel consumption as such. Fuel consumption levels are calculated based on vehicles with standard equipment. Special equipment (e.g. wider tyres) can have a significant impact on fuel consumption levels.
MINI recommends the use of super unleaded 95 RON fuel. Unleaded RON 91 fuel or higher with a maximum ethanol limit of 10 percent (E10) is also permitted. The performance and fuel consumption rates listed are based on the use of RON 98 fuel.

The figures quoted include a 90 per cent tank filling, 68 kg for the driver and 7 kg for luggage. Unladen weight applies to vehicles with standard equipment. Optional equipment may increase this figure.

All figures relate to vehicles with standard six-speed manual transmission. Figures in [ ] are for vehicles with six-speed automatic transmission Steptronic.

MINI COOPER SD COUPÉ.

A REAL SELF-IGNITER.

The MINI Cooper SD Coupé brings power onto the asphalt. Its tremendous traction power promises stunning driving performances, with the two-seater releasing an impressive 305 Nm of torque up to a top speed of 216 [206] km/h.

Drivers curious to find out how quickly 7.9 [8.2] s pass just need to accelerate from zero to 100 km/h. During this sprint the MINI Cooper SD Coupé displays its true character of a thoroughbred athlete when it reaches 80 km/h. Above this speed the rear spoiler extends automatically. This ensures a perfect grip on the road by reducing lift on the rear axle.

Every day becomes a new adventure with the MINI Cooper SD Coupé.

The driver can unleash this huge amount of power while still keeping the fuel consumption very modest. Thanks to MINIMALISM, the average standard consumption is just 4.3 [5.3] l/100 km. The following technologies help to save fuel. The Auto Start Stop function automatically switches off the engine when the car is stopped and waiting at traffic lights. Brake Energy Regeneration means that the alternator charges up the battery if the driver’s foot is not on the accelerator. Shift Point Display shows the best moment to change gear for maximum economy.

This approach to driving fun also means keeping the fuel gauge needle over to the right for as long as possible.
